The project will continue study of the documentation conserved in the "Atti Trentini" collection kept in the Trento state archive, and it will begin investigation to reconstruct the origins of the archive of the Prince-Bishopric of Trento. The project will conduct further examination of the materials gathered in the "Atti Trentini / Trientner Akten" from the episcopal chancery in order to undertake overall research on the archives from the Clesian period (after the return of the episcopal documentation seized by Duke Federico IV Tascavuota in 1532, of which traces persist in the twelfth volume of the Codice Clesiano) until the secularization of the prince-bishopric in 1803. Examination will be made of the sixteenth- and eighteenth-century repertories in German and Latin conserved in the Tiroler Landesarchiv of Innsbruck, and of the seventeenth-century documentary catalogues conserved in the Fondo Manoscritti of the Trento municipal library.

Since October 2015 the research project continues in collaboration with the Department of Humanities of the University of Trento.
