A new issue of “Annali.Reviews.Online” has been published: IX, 2026/1
The past year marked the 500th anniversary of the Peasants’ War of 1525. This occasion has brought the uprisings back to the forefront of historiographical debate, particularly in Germany—one of the regions most affected by the phenomenon—with a renewed research perspective: not only political and religious history, but also the history of reception and the relationship between uprisings and the media. These are some of the themes of the books selected by ARO’s FORUM.
This issue also features reviews on the global history of the environment, emotions, medical practice in the modern age, childbirth, and the history of the Palestinians. Finally, it includes an in-depth analysis of school textbooks as tools of indoctrination during Fascism and Nazism.
