A new edition of “Annali.Reviews.Online” has been published

The Italian-German Historical Institute (ISIG) of the Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK) in Trento is an advanced research centre that promotes research in early modern and contemporary history, with particular emphasis on transnational history.

The Italian-German Historical Institute offers 10 grants to PhD students and recent postdocs who wish to attend the 65th Study Week Historians and Civic Engagement from 1945 to the Present Day.

FBK-ISIG has been awarded two MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships projects in the 2024 call of the European Commission's Horizon Europe program.

Sostenibilità, partecipazione, equilibri tra locale e globale: questioni di grande attualità, alle quali da qualche tempo sta dedicando una crescente attenzione anche la ricerca storica in area alpina.

ISIG intende accogliere nella propria collana “Quaderni”, che sarà edita dalla casa editrice Viella a partire dal 2026, e nella propria collana “Fonti”, edita da FBK Press in Gold Open Access, una ricerca originale in lingua italiana, frutto del lavoro di una/un giovane studiosa/o e promuoverne la pubblicazione.

On 15 November 2024 the international workshop 'Mobility and poverty in Europe between the early modern period and the 19th century: Networks, infrastructures, control' will take place at the Cusanus-Akademie of Brixen-Bressanone, organized by Francesco Brunet (Centre for Regional History, Brixen-Bressanone) and Rosa Salzberg (University of Trento), in cooperation with the Italian-German Historical Institute of Trento.

Il gruppo di lavoro “Geschichte und Region/Storia e regione” e il Centro di Storia regionale di Bressanone, in collaborazione con FBK ISIG annunciano la quarta edizione dei “Colloqui bolzanini di storia regionale”, che si terrà a Bolzano dall’11 al 13 settembre 2025. Nel 2025 vogliono richiamare l’attenzione degli/delle studiosi/e che si occupano di storia regionale sulla storia della mobilità.
