ISIG have one of the most comprehensive specialized libraries for Italo-Germanic historical studies, holding more than 150,000 volumes that include over 1,300 antique books, hundreds of specialized periodicals, and 30 data banks.
Over the years the library has acquired a series of highly prestigious collections, among which the library of Hubert Jedin, great historian on the Council of Trent, the library of the Italian Foundation for Administrative History (FISA), and recently the papers of Serafino Majerotto. The computerized library is included in the Trentino Bibliographic Catalogue, an integrated electronic collection of the complete holdings of more than 150 public and private libraries in Trentino.
