10 Grants available for PhD students and Post-Docs to attend ISIG's Annual Study Week

The 64th Study Week organised by the Italian-German Historical Institute of the Bruno Kessler Foundation, in partnership with the universities of Trento, Bologna, and Frankfurt, is scheduled for
14-16 December 2023. The Study Week will be dedicated to Turning points: ‘Turns’ in recent historiography. A description of the conference, as well as the full programme, can be found at the following link.

The Italian-German Historical Institute offers 10 grants to PhD students and recent postdocs (thesis successfully defended after 1 September 2020) who wish to attend the conference. The conference grants cover travel costs (up to 200 euros) plus catering and accommodation.

General requirements: Master’s degree or equivalent. In order to apply please send a short CV (maximum 500 words) and a letter of motivation (maximum 500 words), by 20 August 2023, to:

Selection criteria: relevance of CV and motivation letter

Applications will be reviewed by a committee of FBK-ISIG researchers. The results of the selection will be communicated by 15 September 2023.
