Mapping Mobilities
This project aimed to reconstruct, map and visualize Trentino’s migration trajectories at the end of the eighteenth and beginning of the nineteenth century, starting with the study of 60,000 passports kept in the state archives of Trento. This research, conducted through study of the effects of the mobility turn and in collaboration with various Trentino institutions, provides for the construction of a database and a web platform dedicated to the phenomenon of migration in the Trentino region.
