Catia Brilli

Catia Brilli is associate professor of Early Modern History at the Insubria University (Varese). She is author of “Genoese Trade and Migration in the Spanish Atlantic (1700-1830)”, New York, Cambridge University Press, 2016, and of “Alle origini del caudillismo. Il caso messicano”, MIlano, Franco Angeli, 2022. She has also published (with Manuel Herrero) the co-edited book “Italian Merchants in the Early-Modern Spanish Monarchy”, London, Routledge, 2017.
